Nebraska Cold Fusion User Group – 11.25.2008

The Nebraska Cold Fusion User Group (NECFUG) held their November meeting on the 25th. The speaker was Jimmy Winter, founder of MusicArsenal.com, a site that helps musicians manage and promote their business. He talked specifically about how he uses Transfer-ORM to simplify the way he accesses the database from Cold Fusion.

On Wednesday, Nov 19th, Dusty Davidson of BrightMix gave a talk to the 3mo old Omaha Rails User Group.  His talk, entitled “Rails in the Clouds” provided the audience a look into the Amazon Webservices Platform, and EC2 specifically.

November OJUG Meeting – with Video!

This month’s Omaha Java User Group meeting had Stephen Haberman (@shaberman) of Exigence talking about Martin Fowler’s book Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture.
