Please join us and contribute to the group’s professional development as we discuss Agile Practices in an interactive manner.
The first 30 minutes of the event are reserved to socialize with fellow Agilists within the Defense Community.
At 5pm we will begin by breaking into Lean Coffee groups each with their own Agile topic. A group lead will present a 20 minute overview of the theme followed by an interactive “Lean Coffee” session (leancoffee.org) that will be guided by the group within the scope of the specific Agile theme.
See the meetup site for the Agile themes for this event: http://www.meetup.com/Agile-for-Defense
Thanks to Agile Transformation for sponsoring the Agile Book Review!
TEKsystems sponsors the event and provides food and drink from 4:30pm to 6:30pm or until a set amount is reached.
Please feel free to invite others! We meet in the large room in the back left corner of DJs. RSVP'ing is encouraged so that we can plan the number of lean coffee sessions to set up.

Join us as June Blender from SAPIEN Technologies joins us in person to talk about A Class of Wine using PowerShell.
Information about her talk.
Build a .NET scripted class in Windows PowerShell 5.0. June will lead a hands-on lab where you create a class with properties and methods. Add constructors and an enumerated type. If we have time, we’ll create a base class and subclasses to learn inheritance, implement an interface (probably iComparable), create a static property/method, and use the Hidden keyword. To participate, bring a laptop/VM with the released version of Windows PowerShell 5.0 (you don’t need Win10; WMF 5.0 is fine), or just come and enjoy the evening.
